Park Facility Booking

Purpose: Allows residents, community groups, and organizations to reserve public park spaces

The Park Facility Booking service allows residents, community groups, and organizations to reserve public park spaces and amenities for events, recreational activities, and community gatherings. The system ensures fair access to public facilities while maintaining environmental and safety standards in the city’s parks.

  • Companies arranging team-building or corporate social responsibility activities

Documents Needed

For individual or private bookings:

  • Valid national ID or passport
  • Proof of residence within the municipality
  • Event description (purpose, date, time, expected attendance)

For organizations or public events:

  • Organization registration certificate or fiscal identification code
  • Event plan including layout, safety, and cleanup arrangements
  • Liability insurance (for events with over 50 participants)
  • Special permits (if applicable — e.g., for amplified sound, food stalls, or temporary structures)

Steps to Be Taken to Benefit from the Service

  1. Check availability: View the online calendar for your desired park and date.
  2. Prepare documents: Gather all necessary identification and event-related files.
  3. Submit booking request: Apply online or at a Parks and Recreation Office with event details.
  4. Application review: Municipal staff verify eligibility, date availability, and safety compliance.
  5. Approval notification: Receive confirmation or feedback within 5 working days.
  6. Fee payment: Pay the applicable reservation or facility usage fees (see below).
  7. Receive permit: An official booking confirmation is issued digitally or in person.
  8. Use the facility: Conduct your activity according to park regulations and permitted hours.

Fees required

  • Standard park area reservation: 50 currency / hour
  • Gazebo or picnic shelter: 100 currency / 4-hour block
  • Sports field (grass or turf): 150 currency / 2-hour session
  • Electricity or water access: 30 currency / event
  • Security or cleaning deposit (refundable): 200 currency 

Non-profit educational or environmental events may qualify for fee waivers upon request.

Method of Applying

Online (preferred):

  • Access the Park Facility Booking Portal
  • Log in using your Citizen ID or register for a user account
  • Select desired park, date, and facility type
  • Upload required documents and submit request
  • Receive confirmation and payment instructions via email

In person:

  • Visit your local Parks and Recreation Office
  • Complete a paper booking form and provide supporting documents
  • Pay applicable fees directly at the cashier or via card terminal

By email (for organizations):

  • Send your completed booking form and documents to: bookings@parks.gov.example
  • Wait for written confirmation before proceeding with event preparations

Expected Delivery Time

  • Application review: 3–5 working days after submission
  • Confirmation issuance: Within 24 hours after fee payment
  • Permit validity: For the approved date and timeslot only
  • Refund processing (if event canceled): Within 10 working days after cancellation approval
