The Tree Planting Initiative encourages citizens, schools, and community organizations to take part in greening their neighborhoods by planting and maintaining trees in public and private spaces. The program aims to increase urban green cover, improve air quality, support biodiversity, and raise public awareness about environmental sustainability.

- Local businesses supporting community greening initiatives
- Municipalities and neighborhood associations applying for coordinated planting drives

Documents Needed
For individual applicants:
- Copy of national identification document (ID or passport)
- Proof of property ownership or consent from property owner (for private land)
- Planting site sketch or description (location, approximate size, soil type)
For organizations, schools, or NGOs:
- Organization registration certificate
- Project proposal (objectives, number of trees, participants)
- Endorsement letter from local municipality (if planting on public land)
- Safety and environmental impact checklist
Steps to Be Taken to Benefit from the Service
- Review eligibility and site requirements on the Tree Planting Initiative webpage.
- Prepare the necessary documents and ensure the planting site meets the program’s ecological and safety criteria.
- Submit an application through the online form or at your local environmental office.
- Application review: The environmental department evaluates your proposal or planting request.
- Approval notification: Successful applicants receive confirmation and a planting kit allocation date.
- Collect seedlings and materials from the designated distribution center.
- Carry out the planting activity following the provided guidelines.
- Report completion by uploading photos and a short summary of the event.
- Receive recognition certificate (for individual participants) or a “Green Partner” status (for organizations).
Fees required
- Application submission: Free of charge
- Seedlings provided by government nurseries: Free (up to 20 trees per applicant)
- Additional seedlings (optional): 10 currency per unit
- Transportation assistance (optional): 50 currency flat fee per delivery
All program activities are non-profit and publicly funded. Donations to support reforestation efforts are welcome.
Method of Applying
Online (preferred):
- Visit the Tree Planting Initiative Portal
- Log in or register with your citizen ID
- Fill out the online form, upload required documents, and select preferred planting date and location
In person:
- Visit your local municipal environmental office
- Submit paper application and copies of required documents
- Staff will assist in data entry and scheduling of your planting session
By mail (limited cases):
- Download and print the application form
- Complete and mail it with copies of required documents to tree-planiting@gov.example

All distribution points are wheelchair accessible and have eco-volunteer staff available for guidance.
Expected Delivery Time
- Application review: 10–15 working days after submission
- Seedling allocation: Within 5 days after approval
- Planting coordination: Based on applicant’s chosen schedule (typically within 30 days)
- Certificate issuance: Within 10 days after planting confirmation
Applicants are notified by email or SMS at each milestone. Planting support materials and care guides are provided electronically upon approval.
